About Tumblr tags #2
There is no limit of how many times you can use a tag.
However, in Tumblr tags there’s always a maximum of 3 (most recent) posts displayed from each blog, for each page in the Tumblr tag (one page is 10 posts). This is to block individual blogs from clogging up tags.
On your blog locally, there used to be a tag display-limit as well, that only the most recent 200 posts would display....

Keep in mind that only the five first tags are registered in Tumblr’s tags. So if you tag your post with “this, is, tags, lalala, hey, cake” the post will display in all Tumblr tags except “cake”. (On the blog posted to, it’ll be visible in all tags including “cake”).
It won’t do to rant in five tags and then add the tags you wish your post...
