most pedophiles wouldn’t actually touch a real child anyways because they understand how fragile they are and that they can’t really consent and things like that :c someone with a blonde fetish isn’t automatically gonna go rape blondes, it’s the sameExactly this is what i mean. People need to know the difference and i think people are just seeing this as “omg men who like girls/women who look young are pedophiles and all pedophiles are child rapists” It just all seems really misinformed and i think that part of the topic is being overlooked because people are really really concerned about lolita being percieved as a fetish.. even though thats been an issue for ages.

Being attracted to children, or animals, or anything like that is not bad. Acting on it is. Just like how, as soda-float said, “someone with a blonde fetish isn’t automatically gonna go rape blondes.” There’s nothing wrong with being attracted to something. The problem is when your attraction leads to you hurting non-consenting people/animals.
